Upgrading instructions for CookWare Deluxe Recipe Software

VERY IMPORTANT! The recipes you have added to your current version of CookWare Deluxe need to be transferred to the new version. Be sure you DO NOT THROW AWAY your CookWare Deluxe 3.0 or 3.1 (Whichever you have) before you've completed these instructions.

  

Upgrading CookWare Deluxe version 3.0+ to 3.2

3.0 Backup

1. Run your CookWare Deluxe 3.0+, then Backup CookWare Deluxe 3.0+ using the “CookWare Deluxe Backup” menu — not "Backup Collected Recipes (remember where you saved the backup folder). Quit CookWare Deluxe 3.0+.
2. Download CookWare Deluxe 3.2. Mac Users, drag the downloaded CookWare Deluxe folder to your Applications folder. Windows Users, run the Installer.
Import into 3.13. Run CookWare Deluxe 3.2. Register it with your Registration Code.
4. Import your CookWare Deluxe Backup Folder into CookWare Deluxe 3.2 using the “Import Backup Folder” menu.
5. You're Finished!

  

Upgrading from CookWare Deluxe v1.4 thru v2.1 to CookWare Deluxe 3.2

1. Backup the recipes in your current version of CookWare Deluxe.
Backup Script2. Download CookWare Deluxe version 3.2.
3. Register CookWare Deluxe 3.2 with your new Registration Code.
4. Import your backup recipe file into CookWare Deluxe 3.2 and you’re finished!

Step-by-step instructions...

1. First, run your current version of CookWare Deluxe and depending on which version you are using, you need to backup using the Scripts Menu or using the Backup button (located in the lower right corner of each recipe).
2. Now you need to find the file you have just created. For versions 2.0 and 2.1, CookWare Deluxe saves the recipes to a file named “My Recipes (Backup).tab” with no quote marks (spaces matter). For versions prior to 2.0, it’s saved with the file name “MyRecipes” - one word with no quote marks. If the backup file isn’t apparent, you will need to do a search of your Hard Drive using one the names above to locate it.
3. Download the latest version at: www.DigitalFriedChicken.com/Downloads Register CookWare Deluxe 3.2. Run CookWare Deluxe 3.2 and choose the Import 3.1Menu “CookWare Deluxe 3.2” then select “Import Past Cookware Recipes”. Locate your backup file, and the recipes will be automatically installed for you.
